Ted des Plantes is a pre-bebop jazz musician of note who has specialized in playing his own form of stride piano, tuba, and drums for over fifty years. He's recorded many times as leader and
sideman for prominent labels GHB/Jazzology and Stomp Off. Two of these discs come with permission from pre-CD Stomp Off sessions,but most are good-fi private takes from various gigs that Ted participated in.
